Welcome to the 29th day of April's 30 days of 'tails from home'! Can you believe it?...we are almost at 30! Today we hear from Cooper's family. Enjoy!
It’s been 5 years since this picture was on the Northern Light’s website...since the first time we helped Cooper climb our stairs, legs trembling, as we praised and praised...since his first night in the kennel which turned out to be too small.
The very next day I had a voicemail at work with my husband describing how he came home mid day to take Cooper out to go potty. When they came back inside, Bob went upstairs to get Cooper a treat “for his efforts” and turned around to find Cooper coming up the stairs all by himself! Still makes me smile thinking of that today.
Five years ago started our adventures...out to lunch out on the restaurant patio...
...visits to relatives on the lake...
...the greyhound walk at the lake on the 4th of July to tire out the pups before the fireworks...
...rides out on the boat...
..and onto Halloween and Christmas...
...and that’s within the first 8 months!
So glad he became a part of our life. He continues to be a joy and we’ve continued with our adventures...those can be shared another time!
