Memorial Day Walk and Picnic

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers,

The Memorial Day holiday weekend is quickly approaching!  To celebrate, we are extending the Greyt Friday Walk to Memorial Day!

It will be MUCH warmer on Memorial Day than
it was on New Years Day!  Thankfully!!!

Let's meet on the north end of the Stone Arch Bridge on Memorial Day morning at 10am.

Gather on the end of the bridge in the park by St. Anthony Main (opposite downtown) off of Main St SE and 6th Ave SE. The park is it called Father Hennepin Bluffs Park. There is meter parking in that area that takes both coins and credit cards.

We will walk across the stone arch bridge towards downtown.  Down W. River Parkway and cross back over the Mississippi on the Hennepin Bridge.  We will then walk along St. Anthony Main back to where we started!  There are options if you want your walk to be longer or shorter.  Or, you can forgo the walk and meet up after the walk (or "reserve" us an area) for the bring-your-own picnic too!

After the walk we can enjoy a bring-your-own picnic in the park if anyone is interested! Bring a blanket and we'll use the grass for our picnic.

Now that the weather is nice we hope to see you there!

[Note: Participants in this walk assume complete responsibility for themselves and their greyhounds. Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption, walk leaders, and walk participants are not held liable for damages, injuries, or losses suffered before, during, or after the walks.]
