A Patch of Sun

A patch of sun
Upon the floor
Appears beside
The sliding door.
I step into
The golden glow.
Then suddenly,
From head to toe,
I feel a warmth
Upon my skin.
I close my eyes
And take it in.
My limbs relax
And slowly sprawl
Beneath my body
As I fall
Into a state
Of pure elation,
Deep in this
Illumination.
