Do you quilt? Have you quilted in the past? Maybe you have a friend or family member that quilts?
We need YOU (or your friends or family members!) help in making a community quilt!
To make this truly a community quilt we the help of several quilters in making quilt blocks (13" unfinished, 12.5" finished ... please do not trim your blocks, we will do it!). You can make one quilt block or several. The finished community quilt will be approximately 72" x 84"!
Your block can be simple. Your block can be complex. Or it can be anything in between! It can be greyhound themed. Or not. It can be your own idea or we can help you with ideas.
The block will need to be completed by mid-July. The blocks will then be pieced together to form the quilt top and will be quilted by a professional longarm quilter. The quilt will then be donated to the NLGA picnic auction where everyone will be able to bid on it!
