When a Greyhound Says "I Love You"

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers!

Greyhounds have so many interesting ways of showing their love. How does your Greyhound say he loves you?

When a Greyhound Says "I Love You"
By Katie Gilstrap

When a greyhound says "I love you,"
His method is unique:
He has a way of saying it
Without a way to speak.

He says it when he races.
He says it when he plays.
He says it when he looks at you
With auburn eyes ablaze.

He says it with a wiggle
When you offer him some treats.
He says it when he snuggles with you
Underneath the sheets.

He says it when he cuddles close
And licks you on your face.
He says it when he wags his tail
With elegance and grace.

He says it with a bark.
He says it with a sway.
He says it with a shimmy.
He says it every day.

He says it with sincerity,
So honest and so true.
He says it with his heart because
He knows you love him too!
