They're Heeerrrrre!!

Two NLGA volunteers drove to Eau Claire, WI on Sunday to meet volunteers from another group to bring the latest group of dogs to NLGA. There were five (5) females and one (1) male.

This Greyhound Bus was in the parking lot where we picked up our new hounds. Coincidence???

The two youngest ones are about 2 years old, but not much is known about them--including their names.

This champagne colored girl is gorgeous and very friendly. She has some unique markings.

The red girl is also about 2 and friendly and sweet. She laid down and slept most of the way. The brindle girl is believed to be about 6 years old and a brood mama.

Checking out the yard at the clinic.

Mohican Elijah was the lone male of the group. He was born on March 9, 2013 so he is only about 1 1/2, but seems older. Elijah was very affectionate and gives kisses. Elijah did not race.

This pretty red girl is SE's Fig City. She is almost 3--born on October 27, 2011. Fig City was in 14 races.

Very lady-like with her legs crossed.

This is Budz Missena and she just turned 4 years old. She was born on April 6, 2010 and was in 138 races. Budz is a very lovely dark brown brindle.

All the dogs traveled well. There was only 2 or 3 growls throughout the trip and no-one needed the squirt bottle. They will now be vetted and when cleared they will need to find foster homes. Please let us know if you are willing to foster one of these hounds.
