He Needs A Call Name!

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers,

We need your help with an important job!

Pick a 'call name' for one of the sweet boys in this picture

In addition to a lucky picnic auction participant winning the naming rights to a puppy, Blu Too Kennels is also letting us pick a call name for HIM!  That's right, a little boy greyhound puppy!


What is the difference in names, you ask? Well, his call name will be what the fine folks at Blu Too Kennels call him day in and day out and they will start using it immediately. The auction winner of the naming rights will pick his racing name; the name that will appear on his NGA certificate and what he will be known as during his pro athlete days. Both are important!

From Blu Too Kennels, "Call names should be short and sweet. One or two syllables. This is especially important when in training. A dog should know his/her call name and be able to react/respond immediately. The longer the name...the slower the reaction time!"

So, here is where your participation comes in.  He needs a call name ASAP! And we need you to vote! The poll will close Monday evening at 9:00pm CDT!
