All You Do

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers,

Did you know that it is National Volunteer Week?  It's a week to inspire, recognize, and encourage people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities.

THANK YOU!!!
The NLGA community would not be possible without all of our past, present, and future volunteers.  Volunteers are simply what makes an all volunteer ran non-profit function!  It's that simple.

From helping transport retired racing greyhound to NLGA to placing them in their forever homes to organizing fun events for the greyhound community.  It's all volunteer!

Meet and greet hosts.  Meet and greet participants.  Clinic dog walkers.  Dog haul drivers.  Application processors.  Foster families.  Guest blog writers.  Parade walkers.  Event organizers.  Event attendees.  Picnic helpers.  Auction/fundraiser donators.  Host businesses.  Graphic design helpers.  Photo takers.  Collar and coat makers.  Those who spread the word about our wonderful NLGA greyhounds!  ...Not a completely inclusive list by any means!...

There is so much that our volunteers (YOU!) do!  You are what makes it possible for all of us to adopt our wonderful greyhound companions.  Think about that.  You help make it possible.  And for that we are forever greytful!  Thank You!

Interested in doing more?  Are there volunteer activities that you would like to participate in?  A special talent or time that you have that you would like to share to help benefit greyhound adoption?  A need that you see unfilled that you could help fill?  Be creative.  Be imaginative.  Just let us know!  (nlgahounds@gmail.com)

Remember, as a volunteer, you really do help keep all of our couches and dog beds full of NLGA greyhounds!  Thank you for all you do!
