Boo's and Roo's

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers!

We hope everyone enjoyed the nice fall weekend!  It was a busy NLGA Saturday!  Both the Anoka Halloween Parade and the Plymouth Pet Expo!  Spreading the greyhound love...

It was a nice cool fall morning for the Halloween Parade!

We lost count how many times we heard those words!

Lots of extra excitement in picking it up all around us!

"Are we almost there?" says Hot Dog Reggie

A greyt big thank you to our greyhound participants ... Charm, Dancin', Day, Harry, Heaven, Max, Reggie, Terra, and Zeke!  And to the people who brought them to the parade!  We hope everyone can join us again next year!

On Saturday we enjoyed the day at the Plymouth Pet Expo.  This was a first time event for NLGA.  We had a great time under the big white dome ... a really good day at the Pet Expo, next door snakes notwithstanding!

Bay being the greyt ambassador that she is!

Lots of people stop by and pet the dogs.

Copy and Bay resting.

Killian watching the activities

Killian was a typical lady.  She even did some rooing and "talking" at various points in time.  She liked the Skyhoundz Disk Dog Tournament and she let them know that they she like what they were doing!

Killian keeping an eye on those disc throwers

Yes, Killian ... we saw them throwing discs too!

Bay was a love sponge, with no inhibitions about roach for extra attention.

Bay taking all the pets she could get

Bay found a soft pillow to rest her head

Copy waiting to say 'hi' too

But we made time to get in a nap or to...

Copy was a polite little girl, allowing Bay and Killian to hog her quilt. Mom intervened, Bay and Killian surrendered their lair, Copy indicated her thanks, and snuggled in.

Killian resting between roo's

Brewski was such a guy.  At one point he laid down in apparent boredom -- looking as though he preferred to be home on his sofa watching the Gophers clobber Nebraska!  [still in excited disbelief!!]

Brewski watching and waiting

Brandon also joined in the fun at the Pet Expo.  Unfortunately, he was having so much fun he eluded the camera!  We also met up with the Rescued Paws Ironworks, who came to the picnic this year, and we picked up some new items!  See them at the holiday boutique in December!

We had lots of interest in the hounds, several requests for brochures, and obvious affection for greyhounds!
A greyt big thank you to Bay, Brandon, Brewski, Copy, and Killian and the people who brought them out!
