A Day in the Life of Day

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers!

First things first, foster boy Day would like to wish everyone a very Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween NLGA!  ~Day

On to a day in the life of Day!

Day is one sweet boy!  He sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep.  And sometimes even needs a gentle reminded to get up once his crate door is open in the morning.

Day is ready to take on the day!

He is good at coming down the stairs.  He meticulously hits each and every step.  He is a good eater and finishes his breakfast.

What's going on out there?!

Day likes to look out the windows and see what is going on outside.  He watches and looks and generally seems interested.

Day walked in the Anoka Halloween Parade

Day enjoyed walking in his first parade.  He did really well with the crowds and noise.  And he has been good with other dogs we have seen on walks too.

What did you say?

Day is really interested in the kitchen and everything on the counters.  He knows he is not supposed to be a counter surfer.  But that does not always stop him ... we're working on breaking that bad habit!

Enjoying outside!

He loves attention!  Day is one sweet boy with a tail that wags non-stop!  He is also a huge leaner.  Huge.  Leans to the point of having to stand him up before you move so he doesn't tip.  He is simply a happy boy!

Not sure about this big pile of leaves!

Day really likes playing with toys!  He throws them around.  Pounces on them.  Shakes them.  Throws them again.  It is fun to watch him play!

Resting in his crate for a mid-day nap.

Day is good in his crate during the day while his foster family is at work.  A milkbone and kibble filled kong keeps him busy!  And he even chooses to rest in his crate sometimes too.

Going for a walk with his friends!

Day likes going for walks.  He walks good on his leash.  He doesn't pull.  He watches for critters but does not seem to lunge towards them.

Sleeping on his dog bed before calling it a night!

Day has lots of greyt moans and groans to tell you how comfortable he is when he lays down to rest and before he goes to sleep at night.

This sweet happy boy is looking for his very own forever home.  Will it be with your family?!
