Meet the 3 Newest Boys!

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers!

We are excited to welcome the arrival of three newly retired racing greyhound to NLGA!  They are a fine group of boys!  

L to R: Luke (Drunk on You), Vick (Into the Blue), and Day (Field Day)

And we want to give a special Thank You to our NLGA volunteer Jill and to the kind folks from HGA who helped us transport this greyt group of young lads!  THANK YOU!!!

The boys rode from Bluffs Run to the Des Moines area with the volunteers from HGA ... who were on their way to a busy day at Prairie Beach (HGA's yearly picnic)!  Our NLGA volunteers met the HGA group at the site of Prairie Beach.  What a greyt way for the boys to enter retirement ... a greyhound party!

Day and Vick took a quick stroll around while everyone
was setting up for Prairie Beach  ... a greyt party!

After a quick visit, we were ready to continue with the trip to Minnesota!

he just knew other hounds had been in here!

The trip went fairly quick and smooth.  There were a few barks here and there when someone got to close to someone else.  But, overall, all three boys did really well!
