What a perfect summer evening it was for the Oakdale Summerfest Parade!

Being a Thursday evening parade, you would not think the crowd would be big.  And you would be wrong!  The Oakdale Summerfest parade draws a huge crowd!  Lots of people got to see our NLGA greyhounds!


Before the parade started all the hounds rested in the shade and visited with those who stopped by to say hi!

There were too many people saying hi to us during the parade ... we didn't get any pictures!
After the parade there was some water and more resting in the shade!

Thanks to all who came to the 2013 Oakdale Summerfest parade!  For those of you who were unable to join in the fun...we'd love to see you at another event soon!

This coming Tuesday is the NLGA picnic meeting!  You are invited to come with ideas to help shape the 2013 NLGA picnic!  Please RSVP by June 24th to mballanger@msn.com!

And next weekend, June 29th and 30th, NLGA will be at two fun events both days...Pride and Petapalooza!    You should stop by...bring your greyhounds or come see the greyhounds!
