From www.grandave.com:
“Grand Old Day is the largest one-day festival in the Midwest, drawing over 250,000 people each year from the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area, regionally and from neighboring states. The event is held along Grand Avenue, Saint Paul’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The parade is the 2nd largest in the area with over 180,000 in attendance. The Parade will kick-off promptly at 9:30 am. The route begins at Dale and Grand then proceeds west along Grand to Fairview. Grand Avenue and all side streets are closed after 8:00 am."Just think…that’s a lot of people waiting to see greyhounds!!
The theme this year is Summer in the City! Pick out your favorite pair of shorts (or pants), some summer shoes, and purple (or greyhound themed) shirt!
All the greyhounds will make an impact on the 180,000 in attendance!
