Foster Lucy

Meet Lucy.  Her racing name was Cut Loose.  She is a beautiful little girl with a happy personality.  Lucy is 2 1/2 years old.  She will be celebrating her third birthday on May 1st.  For a young girl, Lucy is fairly laid-back.  Well, except when we go for walks!  She loves walks and is just so curious about everything.  Once outside, Lucy has a high prey drive and wants squirrels and rabbits.  And she wants them bad!!!!

Just look at those eyes.  She is hard to resist.  Lucy is happy to lay on the floor, on a dog bed, or in a crate.  She has not tried to get on the furniture, except this morning.  Lucy was afraid to walk on the hardwood floor in the living room from the rug by the front door.  So, being ever resourceful, Lucy jumped over the arm of the sectional and ran around the length of it to jump down onto a dog bed so she could get to a rug.  It was absolutely hilarious!!

When it is feeding time, she runs right into her crate and after she finishes eating, Lucy lays down and waits to be let out.  When Lucy needs to potty, she goes by the door and whines.  Lucy is not crazy about getting her teeth brushed but stands still after she backs herself into a corner.

Lucy loves to rest her head on another hound.  Here she is resting on Beth at the meet and greet.  This was Lucy's first experience with being in a store with people and dogs around and she did well.  She was very affectionate towards everyone who stopped to pet her.

If you are looking for a petite female, consider this lovely little girl!
