We wanted to provide a quick update on our previous HELP – FOUND HOUND post from May 3rd.
We are happy to report that about a week ago, after some investigative digging into our historic adoption records, we were able to identify the found hound via his single legible tattoo number as a NLGA greyhound! Yellowstone’s owners were then contacted, and through no fault of his own, it was determined by all involved that it is in the best interest of Yellowstone to find him a new home.
Yellowstone will be getting checked-out in the next few weeks with an exam, blood tests, dental, etc. He will then be adopted by a forever family through NLGA...and lucky him, he already has someone interested in him!
