Winter pictures, Fall requests

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers,

Just a reminder...we need your pictures for the 2015 NLGA calendar!  As a very polite nudge to encourage the submission of your photos we brought back Task Tuesday to make submitting photos for the calendar really, really easy!

Last Tuesday we suggested winter photos.  For next week we are suggesting fall photos (but if it prompts you to simply look through your photos and send us your favorites...we'll take any of them!)

It's mid July and plans are well underway for the NLGA annual picnic in September.  We are excited about this years picnic.  And we hope you are/will be too!

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers!

We recently got a note in the Dog Blog inbox from Kiki!  Kiki, her Mom, and her Aunt recently moved to Denver.  They wanted to share their most recent adventure with us!

We are loving it out here in Denver!  Went for our first hike this past Sunday in Bear Creek.  Kiki loved it and was the leader of our pack!  :)

Someone found a really big spine/hip girdle on top of the boulder.

That sure was fun.

We thought we would start with a well traveled small hike while we learn the area and acclaimate to the altitude... we got a little off course and came out of th woods 4 hours later! ... opps!  How did that happen :)  We talked with many people on the trail, took plenty of water breaks and had a great time!

Summer is just flying by.  Really.  Can you believe we are already more than a week into July?!  Crazy.  Before we realize, it will be September!  And September means NLGA picnic time!

Remember way back to May when July seemed so far away and September was not even imaginable!  We might have even had snow still back then!
