Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers,
Valentine's Day is Friday! What are you doing to celebrate with your favorite greyhound/s?!
Were you thinking of taking your best buddies for a extra special walk? How about a Valentine's Day special Greyt Friday Evening Walking Series event?
The weather forecast has it being a little chilly on Friday evening. But far from cold! Although Saturday is looking about 10 degrees warmer than Friday! Reaching towards 30! ... say it ain't so! With that in mind, how about an extra special Friday Evening Walking Series event on Saturday afternoon?
We'll continue with the Mississippi River theme and meet at the north end of the Stone Arch Bridge (St. Anthony Main side) at 2pm on Saturday, February 15th. The yellow arrow in the map below shows where we will meet. And there is typically metered parking available in the area of the blue dashed line.
We will then stroll across the Stone Arch Bridge with the view of downtown Minneapolis in front of us as we walk. We can then cross back over the river crossing the Central Ave. bridge or the Hennepin Ave. bridge, depending on how far we want to go. Or just walk back across the stone arch bridge if we want to keep it shorter yet.
Come enjoy the nicer weather and beautiful views all while treating your greyhound Valentine to a splendid Saturday afternoon walk! See you and your greyhound/s at 2pm on Saturday!
[Note: Participants in The Greyt Friday Evening Walking Series (and special Saturday walks too) assume complete responsibility for themselves and their greyhounds. Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption, walk leaders, and walk participants are not held liable for damages, injuries, or losses suffered before, during, or after the walks.]
