A lovely time was had by all!
Brewski waited for Steel and Scout to arrive. When the three long lost friends re-united there was smiling, tail wagging, and of course polite sniffing. Once identities were established Brew, relinquished the front line, and respectfully borrowed a bed from, where he instructed Steel and Scout on the finer points of working the crowd. Good job Brew!
Shortly there after Alex and Phil joined the party. Phil gave the boys lots of love and told them stories about Hugo. Phil had to go, so Alex took over.
Alex who just adopted Rounder (AKA Roundy), told the boys stories about horses that were racers. They were fascinated.
In between stories and ear rubs the boys greeted anyone who would stop, and sniffed any canine that paused.
At 5:00PM, the light were dimmed and the fun over. Until the next event.
Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption bids you all a toasty warm house and a soft bed. Remember, spring will be here soon, and then we can meet for long walks (Greyt Friday Walking Series!), good conversation and maybe even a barbecue in the park! And don't forget about Greyt Day @ MIA coming up on April 12th (please RSVP)!
