The Next Group has Arrived!!

NLGA welcomes seven newly retired greyhounds into the family.  They came to us from Iowa.

We are here!!  Let us out.  We want to meet you!!

First up is Bellevue Sarah

Sarah is a very sweet little girl.  She is recovering from a racing injury, broken rear leg.  Sarah is 3 years old and stood in the rear of the van for the entire trip.  She will sleep well tonight!!

Next is the brindle boy, Bulldog Kyle

Kyle is a handsome darker brindle boy.  He is about 3 1/2 years old and was very good on the drive to Coon Rapids.  Kyle spent a lot of time looking out the windshield at where we were going.

This good looking black boy is JK Tony

Tony is a little over 3 years old and retired from racing because of an injury.  He has an intense stare and relaxed most of the trip.

Meet Freaky Helen

 This beautiful girl will be 4 in October.  Helen was Miss Crabbypants during the drive and barked and growled at anyone who came near her.

This is Follow Form

Or Fred as he is called.  Fred is 2 years old and a handsome white/red male.  He was even crabbier than Helen during the drive.  Fred growled at anyone who even thought about looking in his direction.

Another handsome black boy, Jakes on the Way

Jake recently turned 2 and has a shiny black coat.  He was well behaved on the trip.

Last but not least is WW Keykap Rita

Rita is 6 years old and a stunning white with brindle patches girl.  

As you can see, we have quite a variety of new greyhounds who will be available for adoption soon.  As always, here is the plea for foster homes.  Won't you consider teaching one of them about life after racing??
