Walk on Sunday

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers!

The Friday evening walk at North Mississippi Regional Park is being rescheduled this week due to the NLGA Annual Meeting & Volunteer Appreciation Dinner (which we hope you all can attend!).

Instead of Friday evening, the walk will take place on Sunday at 5pm.  That's Sunday, May 4th!  Can you believe it is May already?!

A Greyt Day @ MIA, Indeed!

It was a greyt tour of the MIA yesterday!  We have a large group for the tour and saw a number of amazing pieces containing dogs.  Our tour guide was fabulous.  And lunch at Ice House was had in good company!  Thanks to all who attended!

On Saturday morning, two NLGA volunteers set out for the Wisconsin Dells to pick up five professional athletes.  We were also getting a previously adopted to rehome.  The five newly retired consisted of two girls and three boys.

Hello NLGA Dog Blog Readers!

Well, it was a greyt run while it lasted.  Lots of greyt stories were shared.  Lot of greyt pictures were viewed.  Lots of greyt newly retired greyhounds were followed, featured, and found forever homes.  There are a lot of greyt hounds in a lot of greyt homes.  And, unfortunately, all greyt things come to an end.

Greyhounds are simply not the most popular.  This takes a lot of work.  And people really do not spend much time looking at the blog.  We need page views.  We need 'likes'.  We need 'shares'.  We need 'followers'.  We need contributors.  And greyhounds just are not getting us those things.  Nope.  They are just not.
