Czech Dogs

Czech Republic's best loved member of society is the dog.  Dogs are welcome in pubs, restaurants, smaller shops, movie theaters, on public transportation, and in some work places.

And when it comes to their business...

Failing to clean up after your dog can result in a fine of up to 20,000 CZK (approximately $1,000)!

Coated paper bags are provided in the old district of Prague, Praha 1, for cleaning up after your dog.

Inside of the bag is a cardboard scoop with fold lines.

And on the back of the bag are pictorial instructions.  And probably written instructions too ... if anyone can read Czech it would be fun to know what it says!

The third picture makes it look pretty easy to place in the bag.  Wonder if it really is?

  1. Nothing too exciting or surprising. Roughly, "After collecting the feces fully dispose of in designated bins."
    And below, "Disposable dog-poop kit."
    Pretty civilized!
