It was so nice to see everyone at the picnic yesterday! It was a down right beautiful fall day to be outside in the company of all the greyhounds and friends (new and old)!
The morning started a little chilly for those who helped to set-up. And a greyt big thank you to everyone who got up early to start their Saturday with us!

The big tents went up quickly and with ease. All the auction items were prepared and arranged. Our vendors arrived and set-up (thank you vendors!). The food truck got cooking. The welcome table was ready to greet friends. And the picnic was ready to go!
Then began the perusing of silent auction and raffle items! Lots of greyt donated items to look at and bid on! A greyt big thank you to everyone who donated an item!
The food was tasty again this year! Thank you to Dominick's for bring out their food truck!
The live auction was packed with excitement! A greyt big thank you to everyone who bid! And thanks to those who donated items too!
The lucky winner of the NLGA community quilt was drawn! What a beautiful quilt! Thank you to all those people who put all of your time and talent into making such a wonderful piece of art!
And like the greyhound pictures, the dog blog camera was stuck in a pocket and didn't make an appearance for all of the really fun games this year! We are confident that pictures of game will be coming soon too. Keep on the look out for these. Until then, here is a picture of the bun race winner, Zipper!
