Back to School

The kids are going back to school.
Their bus is driving by.
They're waving out the windows
As their parents shout, "Goodbye!"
The house is calm and quiet
Now that everyone is gone,
And so I lie down on the floor
And yawn a hefty yawn.
The summer was a blast
But now I'm sleepy as can be,
So I will gladly nap
Until they come back home at three.
