Waneta wanted to share with you what she has been doing at her foster home.

Waneta likes playing with toys!

Waneta is learning a lot and having fun too. She has learned to go up and down the stairs. She has discovered the basket of toys. She loves snuggling in blankets on her dog bed. She knows when it is time to go for a walk and she has an internal clock for eating that is spot on!

Waneta recently went to her first meet and greet and did really well. She enjoyed meeting all the other greyhounds that were there. She got lots of petting from various people and eventually decided it was okay to lay down to rest too.

"Foster Dad, is it okay if I lay down?"

Meet and greets are fun but a lot of work too!

Waneta has an extremely soft coat. And she loves to be petted. She gets really excited and will pounce, bounce, bow, and hop to let you know how excited she is. Oh, and she rooooo's! She'll tell you what she is thinking!

I'm listening to everything you say...

And she roaches too. A roo'r and a roacher ... two enduring features that will sure to get her lots of laughs in her future forever home just like it does in her foster home!

At Waneta's second meet and greet she decide much sooner that it was okay to lay down. She's a quick learner!

She has meet and greets figured out!

Waneta likes to be involved with everything that is going on. She's in the kitchen. She's in the office. She's in the living room. Where ever there is something going on, she's there to help!

What are you doing? Can I help?

Waneta rests in her crate during the day while her foster family is at work. She is really good in her crate and goes in willingly. Waneta's go-to-spot at night is in a crate too. That's the spot she chooses! She sleeps well through the night and is ready to greet you in the morning.
